We are a custom design jewelry store located in Cedar Springs, MI. We have been in business for 23 years. At Daniel J. Reynolds, Jeweler, we work to bring you quality craftsmanship with every piece we make and/or repair.

Dan had his first introduction to the jewelry trade as a young man. He began learning how to cut stones around the age of 13. He began carving waxes in high school; learning to use the lost wax method to carve and then cast mountings for the stones that were cut. He continued to develop his skills learning jewelry repair and refining his setting skills as he began to set diamonds and other fine gemstones. Eventually finding a passion for decorative engraving, diamond set plate work and creative jewelry design using the lost wax method.

After getting married, Dan began working for a jewelry manufacturer in Grand Rapids; and in 1994, Dan and his family moved to Cedar Springs. Enchanted by the friendliness of the city, in time he knew this was where he wanted to own his own jewelry store. After working as a local tradesman for 20 years, he looked at the community and saw the need for a local craftsman; hoping to bring well crafted, quality jewelry at an honest and fair price. Daniel J. Reynolds, Jeweler opened for business in 1996 out of a sewing room in the front of our home. Within 6 months we opened a storefront on Main Street. And by 1998 we moved to our current location at 21 W. Cherry Street.

We are a family owned jewelry store and we provide the majority of our services in-house. Our specialty is creative jewelry design and lapidary work. And many people in our community know of us for quality repair of jewelry or replacing watch batteries. Whatever your need may be, we are happy to be of service.
